Over more than a decade of using differnt softwares , there are softwares that are resouce hungry and consume most of the available RAM and CPU ,understanbly design softwares do consume more resources and the next in queue is security programs that are permanent resource hoggers since they need to run right from the start up screen on the Windows platform and till you click the shut down button.
