HP has been a mainstay for computer devices since decades, and to date, their products offer a level of consistency that overshadows the rest of the competition.
When it comes to laptops too, HP is a BIG player. The sheer variety of devices that they have on offer in this segment really leaves the customer spoilt for choice. Off late, the market is seeing a growing demand for light and portable laptops. The startup boom sees many budding entrepreneurs head to cafes and go about their business. Having a light and portable laptop to assist them gives a big boost to their productivity. The same is true for the regular consumers. Not everyone in the world requires a bulky, high spec laptop to accomplish their task, and with other brands overpricing for these commodities, HP has really emerged a winner.

The device we will be looking at today falls into this very category. The HP Envy 13 is the American brand’s answer to the ultraportable pieces in the competition. At the time of launch, HP even claimed that this was their slimmest offering and they were right! What the brand has also promised is full functionality within a portable frame, something that the other laptops in the segment currently lack. So, without further ado, lets dive right into the HP Envy 13.

DESIGN :-

There was a phase in HP’s run where they were coming out with some the boldest designs on their laptops. While this attracted the younger audience to the fold, it was a bit of an acquired taste for the corporates. In case of the HP Envy 13 however, HP has gone for a rather more understated look. We get an amazing aluminium chassis, and a matte black bezel around the display, which gives this laptop a classy appearance. Now, if you leave the appearance aside for a second and focus more on the offerings we have in the bundle, you will see that HP isn’t cutting any corners.

Along the left edge, we have an SD card reader, a USB 3 port that supports sleep and charge, and a headset port.
The right-hand side features two more USB3 ports and a full-size HDMI port to connect this laptop to an external display. Not only is this setup robust, but also provides full functionality to the user wherever he/she may be.
